Under 365 nm background light, different fluorescence reactions are displayed in the blood part of the human body, which can be used to judge the blood lesions or the variation of tumors.
The development of optical technology makes it possible to carry out non-invasive, real-time and in vivo biopsy for skin cancer. Several optical techniques in this field, including optical coherence tomography, fluorescence spectroscopy, diffuse reflectance spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy and laser scanning confocal microscopy, have been studied and applied most recently. These optical methods are used in the detection of skin cancer. It is helpful to improve the accuracy of early diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer.
